Stories where Faith, Family, Hope, and Home Still Matter
More than forty years ago, the author of the Trinity Trails series felt a tugging at her heartstrings for homeless and neglected children. At that time a teacher and basketball coach, Dr. Wanda Sue believed that one day she would be directed to toward that end.
Fifteen years later, she found herself as a school principal working on a doctorate in leadership. It was at that time she began the novel that is now at the beginning of the Trinity Trails series.
Many years have passed since that initial calling, and through maturity and God's wisdom, the time has finally materialized. With so many great Christian charities, the dream of the early days will be fulfilled by donating half of all book profits to selected non-profits.
"Today, every story I write is my way of reminding readers that God still works miracles in ordinary lives."
Stories with a Purpose
The stories I write have a two-fold purpose. The first is to inspire and encourage others. The second, of course, is to support the good work others are doing in the world of non-profits. After much thought and prayer, I have settled on undergirding an educator/ coach scholarship.
As a young person, I attended a Christian institution for my undergraduate degree. I believe this set the foundation for my life's experiences and work. I'd like to pass it on.
I have chosen William Carey University as the host institution for the scholarship. Educators, and particularly coaches, have such influence in the lives of our children. Let's put the very best ones out there to train our kids.
One half of the profits for any book purchase by Dr. Wanda Sue goes directly toward this scholarship.
